Certificate Courses
SYM offers the following certificate courses on Yoga and Ayurveda.
Yoga Teachers Training - 200 Hours
The Satya Yogamandir's 200 Hour Yoga Teachers' Training Program is a four-week course which is internationally certified by the Yoga Alliance.
We started the training program for yoga teachers with the vision to not only develop successful yoga professionals, but also to spread peace in the world through them. The TTC is a unique, profoundly transforming and personal experience which integrates the student's daily life into the yoga training. For four intense weeks of Training, students strengthen their own yoga practice through self-discipline and awareness of the nature of mind, body and spirit. They also build a firm foundation from which to teach others instinctually and confidently.
The TTC provides a fantastic opportunity to awaken or deepen your yoga practice and to be a part of the global yoga community which is growing each day. The best part of all is learning that everything we need is already within us and how the practices can lead us into accessing our gifts and beauty from the inside out. The experience provides a great way to find long lasting happiness, peace and the ability to share the yogic lifestyle with others.
Upon successful completion of the examination, the participants receive an internationally recognized diploma from the Satya Yoga Mandir with the Title "Yoga Teacher - Level 1"

Prerequisites
A high degree of self-motivation is required for all aspects of the course. A basic knowledge of yoga postures and philosophy is helpful but not essential. A sincere desire to learn and openness to the teachings of yoga is required.
The practice and especially the teaching of yoga demand a high degree of self-discipline and purity. To ensure the success of the programme, participants are required to attend all spiritual activities, meditation sessions, lectures and asana classes.
Meat, fish, eggs, black tea, coffee, alcohol, tobacco, drugs and nudity are prohibited during the course as they are counterproductive to the yoga practice. Participants who do not comply with the rules may be dismissed from the course. Unfortunately, it is not possible to cater to personal dietary preferences beyond the yogic-vegetarian meals.
